Welcome to BlackHawk Photography

Welcome, at BlackHawk Photography we strive to capture primarily newborn babies and children. We do step out and do some family portraits as well as high school seniors but we specialize in newborns. That doesn't mean that we can't do your session. If you are interested in something we don't advertise, ask, we can likely build a session for you.

Why so many different logos? Well, we are constantly educating ourselves and building our skills and as these things happen our logo also gets more streamlined. Our early work bares the hawk, while our most recent contains just a simple but elegant signature. Rather then removing all past work we like to share our growth and honing in on our craft.

What can you expect? When you contact BlackHawk Photography you might find yourself in a game of 20 questions. This helps us to identify your photographic needs so that we can design an experience just for you. Whether it's a special location, a special ensemble or the perfect intimate moment between a new mom and her newly born baby. We strive to customize each session and with newborns and an early booking, we can customize colors and outfits that are handmade by us. We always have our outfits from previous sessions but the option to personalize makes it a unique experience!

What happens after our session? Well, we spend the next couple weeks editing and stylizing your images so that you have beautiful artwork to display on your walls for years to come, or until you update your images with us! We meet again and share your images in a unique proof setting where you have the opportunity to choose the images you want to print. We only print with reputable labs that maintain a high level of professionalism through their prints and products.
