Who is BlackHawk Photography
About me
My name is Melissa, I have been a photographer in some way or form for over 20 years. It wasn't until recently that I decided it was time to start sharing my creativity with other people. I have a wonderful family that includes my husband and three lovely children. We keep busy and look forward to including you in our experiences through images.
BlackHawk Photography has been around for about 10 years. We have dabbled in all sorts of different subjects. We learn new things with every shoot but have a lot of experience in different settings.
Currently we offer newborn, children up to age one, senior and maternity. We strive to capture those special moments in time that you will treasure for the rest of time.
We also have a lot of experience in live concert photography and have produced some stunning stage lighting images. In fact, Country Music Star, Gary Allen enjoyed an image of himself so much, he bought it and put it on his Man to Man shirt that he sold at his venues and online.

BlackHawk Photography - How we work
The process for a session with BlackHawk Photography is that we start with a pre-consultation. We determine your needs and how you want your images to look. We follow up with your personalized session. After editing is completed and proofing is in place we present your images with matted proofs for you to feel and move around. This aids in selection as you see everything in actual print. Once your selections are chosen and payment is received, we order your products right away. As soon as they arrive, we quality check them and let you know they are in.
